Hello, I have another quick question, abit noob like but here it goes,

basically i run a handywork business in which i do all types of work from cleaning to painting and minor building works, ive recently got a job as a canvasser in which i am NOT employed by them, i only have the job and its my duty to pay tax on everything earnt etc, so the question is basically can i file the income from the canvasser job through my handywork business?

i hope i can, canvassing is work that is handy to the people so same genre prehaps ;)

any help is appreciated, if not then could anyone tell me what id be best doing in terms of paying tax for the canvassing job? (PAYE etc?)

If you are not employed, then PAYE does not apply.

It seems you may have another business as a canvasser. If it is substantial, you will have to prepare separate accounts. If not, the "other income" section may suffice.
