Bare Trust

Bare Trust

Postby Gunner84 on Mon Jan 16, 2012 8:48 pm

Hi Everyone

Any help much appreciated!

I have a client who has set up a bare trust for their minor children that they will hold a property on trust for them. The property is let out so there is rental income. Does a trust tax return need to be completed or, as this is a bare trust, is the income simply reported on the settlor (parents) tax return.

Any pointers in the right direction would be really helpful.

Many Thanks!
