Lots of downloads on the Inland Revenue's own website. For example, check out their booklet "IR150". However, always be aware that anything on that site is the Revenue's interpretation of the law. A professional's view may differ. That said, the IR150 and other items from the IR website are generally good grounding in the basics of what to claim and how to do it. Also, if you go along with their view on something, you're not likely to start arguments. Watch for changes though. For example, views on replacemnt double galzing on let properties have changed as time has gone by. Hope that helps.
