Bonus payment and tax strategy

I have lived and worked in the UK since last year and expecting a bonus from my overseas employer before the end of this tax year. What strategies do you have available to reduce the tax bill that will arise?

Are you claiming non-ordinarily resident status? Where have you come to the UK from?
