Camera Equipment

Camera Equipment

Postby gh4662 on Wed May 11, 2011 9:46 am

I started the business some years ago.

At the time the Inland Revenue advised me that they classed Digital Camera equipment as computer equipment, where do I find advice on their website if this is still the case.
Secondly, do I have to write off a computer asset over three years, I like to change cameras at end of their warranty i.e. 2 years?

I know I should really get an accountant and will next year as the business grows

According to this digital cameras have never been classed as computers.
