Can a Trust own a vehicle?

I am to become a trustee of a Personal Injury trust fund. One of the things we might want to look at is the settlor's vehicle. Can the trust own a vehicle or can it merely finance the purchase of a vehicle for the settlor?

Yes a trust can own a vehicle, but like land it must be registered in the name of an individual.
With a pinch of salt take what I say, but don't exceed your RDA
