Clarification sort regarding company

Postby patss » Fri Jun 09, 2017 11:21 am

Hi all

We have been sending company CIS refund claims via post in the past for when we require the CIS refunds to come to us first (so we can deduct our fees) and then we pay the client the balance.

HMRC's manual states that scanned copies, photocopies and wet signatures are all acceptable when we send the letter of legal assignment to them.

My question is that do HMRC accept letter of legal assignments that have been signed via e-sign? Has anyone had experience with HMRC accepting e-sign signatures?

Thank you in advance for your help.
