Class 2 Exception

Class 2 Exception

Postby CG on Wed Dec 01, 2010 3:14 pm

Hi

If an accounting year end is 31 January are profits apportioned between 2 accounting years to calculate the level of profits to see if small earnings exception applies?

Also, is it the taxable profit that is used?

Many thanks for any help with this.

Hi CG,

I would imagine apportionment would be required (except for 2009-10 and 2010-11 where the limit is the same).

Use the accounts profit for the tax year rather than taxable profits.
