Clause 24 and lease options

Postby Rosie Semaj » Thu Jan 05, 2017 12:09 pm

Happy New Year to everybody.

How does the new tax changes relating to the taxation of interest payments affect lease options.
A) the option holder- renting out the property but paying the monthly option fee to the value of the mortgage payment.
B) the mortgage holder- if the mortgage is a residential mortgage with interest only but has consent to let.

Thank you for your assistance.

Regards

Rosie
