Hi there,

My client is self employed as well a director in his company.

Is he still required to pay class 2 n.i? Or is he covered because of his directors remuneration upto the lower earnings limit?

thanks,

He's liable for Class 2 and Class 4, though he may be eligible for a rebate if his total contributions exceed the maximum.
With a pinch of salt take what I say, but don't exceed your RDA
