Credit Cards, Bank Accounts etc.

Do the HMRC have access to all of the accounts you have with Credit Card companies and banks etc? The bank Accounts aren't a problem but I have switched Credit Cards that much over the last few years to get the 0% I am not sure which ones I had during my investigation year.

P,

Simply put, HMRC can either request this information from you or, if they feel it is necessary, they can approach the credit card company directly and request information from them with regard to your affairs. This is quite rare, and it would normally be in your best interests to provide this information before HMRC felt it necessary to go down either route formally, or the latter route in particular.

You may ask them why they need this information, i.e. with a view to refusing it (if necessary by appeal) but this would normally be counter-productive.

I should hope that you have engaged the services of a professional adviser, who has experience in dealing with investigations. A simple aspect enquiry is one thing, but a full investigation would almost certainly benefit from professional advice.
