Directors wage

Directors wage

Postby jaskhan on Fri Jul 01, 2011 12:46 pm

Good Afternoon guys
Can someone just confirm or correct my understanding of the following.

When earnings exceed the secondary threshold of £136 weekly then NICs become payable by the employer.
So anything between the LEL of £102-£136 this amount, the director retains his right for benefits, such as State Pension and Jobseeker’s Allowance.

Many thanks in advance
