Do I have to pay tax on dividend earn from another country?

Please could someone help? In 2012 I received dividend payment from a company outside the UK and the dividend was paid into a bank account held in that country. I was a resident in the UK at the time the payment was made, and did not have a registered Limited company at the time because I was in full time employment.
I still reside in the UK,and I have a registered limited company now. I will like to know if I need to pay tax on the divided earn in 2012.

Hi

Yes it would have to be taxed in the UK depending on Remittance or Arising basis

How much was the dividend and was there any withholding tax levied ?

Kind Regards
