Do your parents have a Will

I come across many people who either have no will or a very basic 'Mirrored' Will. This just is not good enough. Please ensure you and your parents have IHT efficient Wills and your property is correctly owned so you can use your NRB IHT should something happen. Find a decent Solicitor/Lawyer who is an IHT Practitioner and have all the fects at hand when you talk to him. When he makes his proposal come back here and question what he has suggested as I have seen some fairly poor examples of what not to do. Then when you understand it get is sorted, appoint an Executor, say your oldest surviving child or whomever, but get it sorted. Help your self and don't give money to the chancellor. Regards Peter
