Hi All,

If I buy a corporate golf membership for a local course through my company - is it tax dedcutible if I use it for my employees or customers? Or are there any circumstances where this would be tax deductible. Thanks!

"use it for customers"

I don't understand. Do you let your customers go and play rounds at the club on their own?

What do you envisage? Who wil use it and when and how?

hi,

I envisage one of two scenarios:

1. I would allow a customer to use the golf membership with his team for a single day per year and rotate this among my customers
2. I would take a selection of customers on the golf course with me at various times of the year

I woudl never use it just for myself

You also envisaged your employees use of it?

Its entertaining and not allowed for tax if you take customers....bogey

If just you go or you and the staff its a benefit in kind and goes on your and their p11ds...but is allowed for co tax as you pay income tax and nic on it which is higher than company tax...double bogeyn
