Full time job and part time internet business

Postby wezwez on Sun Sep 18, 2005 7:18 am

I'm looking to set up an internet/e-mail based business for people to subscribe to a betting tipster service. This will only take a few hours of my time each week, and will not be my main source of income. I also have a full time job that I wish to keep until I can be sure that by internet business is earning me enough money to allow me to quit.

I am looking for guidance/advice on what sort of taxes I will have to pay for the internet business, and what I need to do to make sure I meet all the necessary requirements.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I have a busniess start-up guide that details all the legislative requirements of setting up a business.

The answer to your question will depend on whether you will run the business as a sole trader or through a company......

But you can find further information on business start-up at http://www.businesslink.gov.uk.

If you need further assistance please email me.
