I think the original poster's (OP) query was not difficult. However OP made it seem difficult because of not describing fully the circumstances behind his query and thereafter dribbling out more information (which should have been contained in the first post) as well as repeating questions that were not raised in original post.
I have no wish to continue the confused thread ad infinitum. But on seeing Lee Young's answer of No and No today and the preceding five pages of confusion, I thought it is a useful example to those thinking of becoming original posters of the benefits of describing fully the circumstances behind their questions in order to allow others to comment fully and thereby avoid any more lengthy confused threads like this one. In addition, the subject matter – concerning the best way to structure arrangements for helping aging parents, passing on family home and the mitigation of any associated tax liability-- is a popular one on this board.
