House Inheritance

House Inheritance

My mother died at the end of last year. She did not leave a will. It is just my sister and I. We have been left a house and some money. I would like to buy my sister out & she wants to keep the house as a holiday home. I live 20 miles away go to the house 3 times a week, and have dealt with all the bills, posts and have done any jobs or work on the house that needs doing.
My sister lives 300 miles away visits the house 3 times a year.
We are dividing the bills at the moment.
She is refusing to let me buy her out as she "needs a holiday "
I offered to pay 50% of the house & £10,000 and to let her stay the 3 times a year and i would move out. Still no. I do feel used as she knows that I wont let the house fall into disrepair but is there anything else I can do? :?:

As you are both administrators you will need to obtain a court order authorising and compelling the sale of the property.
