inheritance tax and bonds with profits

"My dad left six bonds with profits for my sister and I" so they were not given to your Mum so she could not gift them. They were being held in trust and your Mum was not the beneficiary thus no gift. Or have I missed something. Did you take advice before cashing in the 3 bonds. Regards Peter

We were given advice by a certified financial advisor.
