Joint tenants to sole tenant - SDLT?

My wife & I own a property as Beneficial Joint Tenants. If it's transferred to me solely (CGT planning reasons) is there SDLT to pay?

SDLT would be charged on any consideration passing - money or any form of value - such as an outstanding morgage. If there is no money/mortgage etc then there is no SDLT.
