Just out of interest does anyone know what counts as professional trade in a flat letting contract?

Latest update on this is that my boss has said it is ok for me to do website design for other people in my spare time. With the small figures (£200pm) we are talking about here do I definitely need to go through the process of registering as self employed. Also I am guessing that I cannot give the government my address as being a PO Box. Would I get away with giving my business address as one? This looks like a possible way to get around any problems with my landlord.

HMRC could, id n fact should be sending you forms, coding notices etc to your address and nothing to do with SA. I do not think it makes any difference. Regards Peter
