National Insurance and Danish LMC

Hello All

I was after your help, I am working over in Denmark and i pay Danish Tax and i pay English National Insurance and also 8% LMC Labour Market Contribution, am i right in thinking the LMC is National Insurance for Denmark, i have contacted my employer and the reply i got was yes you have to pay it.
