Non-residence for tax purposes

Postby auhsoj » Mon Jul 17, 2017 1:47 pm

I've been living abroad for the past 5 years and obtained "non-resident for tax purposes" from HMRC at the beginning of that period. While abroad, I have worked as an independent consultant periodically, some of this work including for UK organisations. Do I have any tax liability for this income?

Where was the work located, what type of work was it, how much are we talking about, where were you paid to?
