onto P11d or not

onto P11d or not

Postby tom 7000 on Wed Jun 08, 2011 3:56 pm

I have a residents association Ltd co. Charge residents £750 a year services charges x 10 flats.

One of the residents runs it and so he doesnt get a bill for £750, which they all agree, on the grounds that if he can be bothered to organise the maintenace etc then he gets let off.

Do I put the £750 on a p11d?

Yes it is a not for profit company its a residents association that just maintains service charges for residents and therefore doesnt trade and should hold the money in trust and therefore doesnt trade in its own right and therefore the money is really the residents own and nothing to do with the company and you cant have a plld benefit on yourself....so I answered myself I think...good boy tom
