Pension recycling query

Postby JOHNRE » Sat Feb 25, 2017 11:43 am

Hi, I have been doing some research on pension recycling but would appreciate your views. I have a Sipp worth £20K and am considering taking out the 25% tax free element. From my research, since the withdrawal is less than £7500 I would not be "guilty" of pension recycling if I put £2880 of it into a NEW pension......does this mean I could, say in a year's time, transfer the balance of the old Sipp into the new one and then take another 25% tax free?

Many thanks

John
