Pension

Postby Aucma on Mon Sep 05, 2005 5:06 am

I'm a British citizen and have paid tax & N.I. over the years. I'll be living outside the UK until retirement and then will return to the UK at retirement age

My question is - will I be entitled to a state pension and how much would I get? Also, for how many years can i continue to pay into a private pension plan if I'm not resident in the UK?

Thanks a lot for your help

You say that you will be living outside the UK.
Will your earnings be subject to UK tax and NICs whilst you are abroad?
If you want to know how much state pension you will get, then simply fill in the form on this website and post it off - easy as that!
