SDLT surcharge buying property in a company?

Postby hpr23 » Sun Jul 03, 2016 2:25 pm

As someone who owns more than one property, If i were to buy something with the view of letting it out to earn an income, would buying through a Ltd company bypass the 3% SDLT surcharge. Would there be any further benefit for example if the company was incorporated somewhere tax advantageous like the Isle of Man?
Many thanks in advance
