Postby shyamii » Mon Oct 24, 2016 2:15 am

Hi I'm doing, for the first time, a tax return on the income Ive received for a buy to let property i own.

After filling in the section that asks : Total rents and other income from property......

it says: UK tax taken off total rents and other income from property........ what does this mean? I assume the tax ammount due after deduction such as expendatures

please help someone and clarify what this atually means

No. It means to put in any tax withheld from your rental income. Very unusual so in most cases will simply be blank.
