Hi I'm a stay at home mum and my husband earns 80k per year . Each month he gives me an allowance of 2k for house hold bills , electric, gas , insurance , food etc etc , my car running cost etc etc? He pays full tax on his 80k. My query is should I be paying tax on the 2k he gives me each month? I don't claim any benefits etc , I just receive the 2k but worried I should be paying tax.. thanks
