Filing of Management fee income in self assesment

Postby john_123 » Fri Jan 20, 2017 9:28 pm

I there I hope you can help.

My dad receives fee income for managing a rented property. In his self assesment filing how is this reflected? It's not obvious in the property section, maybe self employment? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks

If he is running a business - it is self emloyment
If all his work is done for one person, it is likely to be an emloymentment.
If it is casual or commission, use box 17.
