Flat gift to wife

Postby Fred2 » Wed Mar 01, 2017 3:12 pm

I'm a 40% tax rate payer, my wife is 20% tax rate payer.

We currently rent out a flat and take 50% of the income.

The flat is currently in my name.

With the changes in tax rules coming in April 17 we want to take more of an advantage of my wife's tax allowance.

Can we put both names on the deeds and then nominate her to have 90% of the income?
