Is exemption granted?

Currently divorcing. I will end up with the family home, farmland and another house on the farm. All are currently held in joint names with no mortgages. Since the transfers are all part of a divorce settlement, are they all exempt from SDLT?

Yes, assuming the transactions are pursuant to a court order, agreement between the parties in contemplation of divorce, etc.

The transfers will be detailed on the consent order, so that makes sense to me.
Many thanks
