Purchase car or van

Hi

Would somebody be able to advise on the allowances for purchasing a car or van for a small company that covers many different fields of work.

Company is not Vat registered and T/O about £10k no direct employees just me who takes a payment at the end of the year.

will it be used for personal use?

My preference is a van as it can be counted as plant and machinery.

I have 2 options I guess I could purchase a newer car and charge the company mileage although I do already receive mileage from my normal day work in my private car or purcahse a van that would then be used by the company soley. Would I then be able to offset the whole cost of the van diesel mot's spare parts and services of a van but not a car??

Is there a website that has the information on??
