questions on adding partner to mortgage \ deeds

not sure if this is the right place to ask but we would like to know if i am added to my partners mortgage are there any tax implications fees etc but more importantly, does adding someone to the mortgage mean they will automatically be added to the deed entitlement for the property?

any advice would be great thanks.

No- you will be jointly liable for the debt, but only by taking the necessary legal steps will you be added to the title deeds. You may find that the mortgage company insist on this.
