Could someone please give me an idea of what i could expect to pay for setting up a discretionary trust in the UK?
Thanks in advance.

You can get a free form from most IFA's. And that is worth every penny! The form is generally free because without the advice you would have no recourse if things went a bit wobbly. I have seen them packaged up with weird and wonderful names in the past and been sold at up to £5000, so you're right to ask the question.

If your looking for the advice to go with the form, most lawyers, accountants, chartered tax advisers and financial planners would say that between £150 and £250 per hour (for the work that involves the brains), should buy you reliable service and someone to go to if you need some answers and help in the future.
