Reclaiming VAT before registration

Reclaiming VAT before registration

Postby mactavsy on Sun Feb 28, 2010 1:56 pm

Regarding reclaiming VAT before registration on goods/services, HMRC website says the goods/services must be have been bought "by you as the entity (for example individual, business or organisation) that is now registered for VAT". As we are a partnership, does this mean bills (eg for services like internet/mobile phone etc) have to be in partnership name? This is not the case - they are in individual partners' names. Is this acceptable does anyone know?
Thanks

Yes this should be fine. I would be VERY surprised if HMRC challenged that.
Do you adore to transfer your artistic and inventive qualities to renovate a part type? Perhaps your friends who tour your sanctuary head remarks about want they could levy you to change their premises.
