Self employed wanting a new pickup truck

Postby Engineerjay » Mon Mar 14, 2016 10:35 pm

Hi Iam wishing to purchase a pickup truck for work purposes. I don't Have the funds the pay for it out right. Would it be wiser to lease or to buy on finance. Iam covering about 20,000 miles per year . Can I claim the full amount back like a van ?

I'd opt for finance, but without detailed info. it's a toss up.
Yes you can claim full capital allowances, if it's the right sort of pickup.
