hi i wonder if you could help me i work away and i also have a home in the uk, who my x lives there, i do not want her there but she just wont go, she pays no bills as they are all in my name, i also have a daughter who has just been born, and i wanted to know if i could pass the house over to my daughter now, and maybe a trust will hold it until shes 18, as i am moving from the uk to dubia, i still have morgage on it, not very much though, the house is valuad at 160,000, i owe aroud 40,000, but i will still keep paying my morgage until it finishes, i just wanted to put the house in my daughters name can i do this, and if this is possible, does my x have to move out cos then my daughter owns it, i dont have any loans on the proprty at all. thanks any help will be gratful x

Ownership by your daughter does not require your ex to move out.

The easiest option is for you to simply execute a declaration of trust in favour of your daughter giving her 100% beneficial ownership.

No amendment to the "deeds" is required ie you remain the legal owner; this is preferable given the on-going mortgage.
