stamp duty avoidance scheme - charity involved

Postby SImo on Thu May 20, 2004 5:29 am

Sirs, I am in the process of buying a freehold house.
I have been told it is possible to avoid half of the stamp duty by intermediating the purchase through a charity institution.
Before talking to a solicitor about it, I would like to ask you if you can provide me with more colours on that.
regards,
SG
