Taking Shares in a Company - Tax Situation?

Taking Shares in a Company - Tax Situation?

Postby jklondon on Thu Aug 19, 2010 6:05 pm

Hi,

I am taking a role in a company registered in dublin, ireland. As part of this I will be reciving outright shares in the company. I am wondering if there is any implication here for my tax situation with the HMRC or if that will only be an issue when I sell the shares at a later date?

Thanks in advance
JK

How and why are you receiving these shares? What is the scheme called.

What proportion of the company's shares will you be obtaining.

Will you be working/living in the UK.
