Can anyone recommend a good IHT Tax Planning Guides and any other.
Not sure of those written by chaps at Tax Cafe if they are any good.
Thanks

Malcolm Finney's book which is "book of the month" on this website may be worth looking at (see for comments on the book http://www.taxationweb.co.uk/forum/remittance-basis-charge-t36673.html?hilit=malcolm%20finney).

Mark McLaughlin's book on IHT published by Bloomsbury is well worth a look.

The McLaughlin's book does not mention planning like his previous title in 2008 just rules and principles or am I wrong?
"Inheritance Tax 2011/12
June 24th, 2008
Authors: Mark McLaughlin, Chris Erwood, Iris Wunschmann-Lyall “Inheritance Tax 2011/12 guides you step-by-step through the complexities of this increasingly difficult subject. It starts with the basic rules and principles before looking at topics in more depth including lifetime transfers, gifts with reservation of benefit, settled property, and the various reliefs including business and agricultural property [...]"

and the Finney's relates to personal tax planning.

Still open to further recommendations
