Inheriting overseas real estate, is there an obligation to declare to HMRC?

Hi all,

Just wanted to as a quick question:

If one inherits real estate from overseas and:

1. the gifter is not a UK national or resident
2. The real estate is not used to generate profit

is there any legal obligation to report the assets to HMRC?
