Hi,

1. I own a company and I have a few questions. if an hourly employee works for 3 months and quits will he get unemployment?

2. If he gets unemployment do i have to pay anything or is the salary already deducted from his pay check everything so i dont have to pay anything?

3. What are the reasons that an employee will get unemployment? Is it If I fire him? Or is it if he quits? When will he get unemployment?

I understand agree with section 44 response. If a person becomes unemployed and then claims job seekers allowance then you do not pay anything but this depends on the circumstances whether they have been dismiss unfairly etc.

A person can get jobseekers allowance if you fire them or they quit but there are there are restrictions on jobseeker's allowance if you voluntarily cease employment.
