Postby gregory10 on Tue Aug 23, 2011 11:13 am

Hi All

I have had a letter from the valuation office agency because they have been asked to give advice to the HMRC regarding properties stted on the IHT form

It is avery straight forward questionnaire. has anyone else received this before? in the last section it asks to provide any relevant information. should i send copies of the valuations i received from agents at the time to prove where i got the figures from on the iht form

Please advice

thanks Greg

Hi Gregory

Yes this is quite a standard form, especially where Properties are involved.

Definately send copies of your valuations as this will be the point in question.

Kind regards

HI

Thank you very much for your response. I had 3 valautions done and took the average so then at least they can see where the figures came from
