VAT & PAYE Registration - Compulsory or Not?

I am not a UK resident but going to incorporate my business in UK soon. My business is totally internet- based and I do not need to open an office for it or hire employees in UK. My work is usually done by myself or few contractors spread globally. The nature of my business does not involve any buying or selling in UK for the time being. So I was assessing the options of incorporating in UK. I want to know that with my current business model, do I need to register for VAT and PAYE?

Well, you haven't really explained what you are going to buy / sell?

In terms of VAT it is unlikely a UK registration will be required if you are selling goods, however if you are selling free circulation goods in the EU then you may require other EU VAT registrations.
