Can I claim all of the times I have had to used a taxi (cab) for the sole purpose of getting to and from work?

On the limited information you have provided I am afraid the answer is no ... unless your workplace is temporary in that you are there to perform a task of limited duration or other temporary purpose. For information on travel expenses - www.travel-expenses.co.uk is regarded by some as better than the HMRC site.
