A quick guide to recent additions to the HM Revenue & Customs website.
Week ending 26 January What's new? - HMRC Brief 05/07: Determining if your forex transactions are supplies for VAT purposes; How your input tax recovery will be affected; Wider application in respect of transactions in other financial instruments; and further information.
- Distributing Offshore Funds - new updated list of certified funds as at 25 January 2007.
- Instalment payments of corporation tax by large companies - new factsheet replacing leaflet CTSA/BK3, which has been withdrawn.
- The Civil Partnership (Employee Share Ownership Plans) Order 2007 and Explanatory Memorandum – in respect of SIPs, reference to “husband and wife” is replaced with “spouse or civil partner’’ to reflect the changes made by the Civil Partnership Act 2004.
- Agent authorisations - an update on the new form 64-8.
- Construction Industry Scheme – a pack called “Changes for a more straightforward system” is being sent to all registered contractors.
