Actevely trading company

Postby Jafer » Sat Oct 21, 2017 7:10 pm

Dear Gurus,
I am new in this forum, I want to understand about my issue:
I did setup a private limited company on 1/2/2015 and I was the director, I am not British, I entered the UK on 1/4/2015 , I opened a business account on 5/6/2015 , I started trading on 6/6/2015.
My issue is that Home Office rule is to register yourself as a director in a UK business and that business must be actively trading at the time of appointment as a director.
Now form 1/2/2015 to 12/4/2015 there was no activity,
from 12/4/2015 to 5/6/2016 there was no activity. After that I started trading. I filed a full accounts to Companies House and HMRC, and tax return CT600 from 6/6/2015 to 29/2/2016.
Was my company dormant in that period?
Please advise
Thanks

I can't speak to Home Office regulations, but yes, in the period to 5/6 the company was dormant.
