Banking in UK if change of citizenship

Postby davidgee » Thu Apr 05, 2018 6:38 pm

I understand that continuing to bank in the UK is becoming more difficult for expats. Is it still ok to operate an existing UK bank/building society account whilst living abroad?
And what if the ex-pat decides to take citizenship of the new country which requires relinquishing British citizenship? Is it still possible to keep the UK accounts?

Not really a tax question is it?
You don't have to be a UK citizen to have a UK bank account.
With a pinch of salt take what I say, but don't exceed your RDA
