IHT PPR allowance and Holiday Letting

Postby djbolton » Fri Apr 27, 2018 12:18 pm

What are the implications if I let my main residence for Holiday Lets for part of the year while I am abroad?
Do such lettings qualify for the £7500 lodgers income allowance? Only part of the property would be let- the remainder being locked up during my absence.

No. He's not a lodger, he's a tenant.
With a pinch of salt take what I say, but don't exceed your RDA
